Inditex improves its ranking on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index World

The Inditex Group strengthens its position as member of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index World (DJSI World) achieving better scores in all criteria considered in the assessment. This prestigious index, which assesses companies in terms of sustainability, has just launched the 2009 annual review which will be effective as of September 21st. Inditex has been part of the DJSI World since 2002.
The annual review of DJSI World index, a benchmark for socially responsible investment, is based upon a thorough independent review of corporate performance in terms of sustainability, taking into account economic, social and environmental issues.
