Top Consulting Firms Rank Inditex Among the World’s Leading Companies in Sustainability
Inditex has been named one of the world’s most sustainable corporations, according to a study by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and Sustainable Asset Management (SAM). The study was designed to identify companies that stand out for their ability to manage sustainability and that also represent an appealing investment opportunity. The report contains an analysis of 57 industries and 367 of the 2,500 companies listed on the Dow Jones Wilshire Index. In addition, it highlights Inditex as one of the companies which has made the most significant progress in the sustainability field in the past year.
Meanwhile, for the third straight year Inditex appears on the Global 100 list of the world’s most sustainable companies, drawn up annually by Canadian magazine Corporate Knights in conjunction with consulting firm Innovest Strategic Value Advisors. The ranking recognises the best-performing corporations in the areas of environmental protection, social responsibility and good governance.
