Our activities
Year 2005
- A global Sustainability Indicator System was developed for the operations of the company and Software for the on-line management from all work centers (fabrics and logistics centers). Its implementation ended in 2005.
- Implantation of the Sustainability Model at stores in the 40% of the total number of stores in Spain.
- On site training regarding the Environmental Management and the Occupational Risks Prevention for 40% of the stores staff in Spain (more than 3.000 people in 2005).
- Implementation of projects to increase our own generation of energy from renewable sources. Pilot test of photovoltaic power plant completed.
- Integration of the control of the energy consumption with the control of Greenhouse Gases.
- Development of researches on Life Cycle Assessment of the textile products in the own fabrics and development of a Simplified Life Cycle Analysis (ACV) tool is in progress, which will be applied to our productions.
- Adaptation of the Environmental Management System in all centres in Spain to the new requirements of the ISO 14001:2004 standard.
