Wind power generator

Wind power generator, cogenerator centre and solid waste area at the Fios factory, Arteixo (Spain)

  • ISO 14001 certification of the Environmental Management System at Chain Head Offices and Logistical Centres (Zara, Kiddy's Class, Pull & Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Oysho, Stradivarius).
  • Completion of the Training Plan for all staff at Chain Head Offices, Logistical Centres and factories in Spain (4,277 people).
  • Completion of the first phase of the Waste Separation and Minimization Plan, achieving an overall reduction of 2% despite the increase in production.
  • Beginning of the Plan for environmental audits in stores.
  • Increase in self-produced renewable energies.
  • Publication of the 2003 Sustainability Report in accordance with GRI criteria.
  • Maintenance of ISO 14001 certification of the Environmental Management System at the 16 companies with certification in 2002.
